What's the easiest way to become happy?

Posted on Dec 1st, 2008 by RLtruthseeker-artist : Integral Mysticism RLtruthseeker-artist
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 18, 2007:

The easiest way to be happy is the only way happiness works. Through the process of appreciation. When you just forget about yourself (ego), and find yourself immersed in just being.

What is your wish for this month?

Posted on Dec 1st, 2008 by RLtruthseeker-artist : Integral Mysticism RLtruthseeker-artist
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 01, 2008:

I wish people would receive as much as they give. I wish they appreciate and see connections in life. I wish all who want spirit and peace of mind to receive it, and to help build and create it. I wish those who want to make changes and new years resolutions the peace, courage and insight to start to implement them. I wish and hope the holidays, instead of being stressful, just allow a person to spend time with loved ones, and just appreciate them for being in your life, or seeing as how your connected to everyone, and the earth. Poetic and idealistic words i'm sure, but this is my wish.

What do you believe about karma?

Posted on Dec 3rd, 2008 by RLtruthseeker-artist : Integral Mysticism RLtruthseeker-artist
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 03, 2008:

There are two types of karma. One is the transcendent aspect, and one is the immanent aspect. The immanent aspect is basically that "something in motion, tends to stay in motion" and that the energy and our intentions that we put out affects our lives, and comes back to us. This is the law of Attraction and forms the saying  "what goes around comes around." The transcendent aspect of karma is the belief that we have more than one life, and our spirit or soul is reborn into a human body. This is based on Hindu, Buddhist, and very early Christian concepts. This is based on the idea that our spirit seeks to experience many different things, and is working towards a goal, development, or enlightenment in a lifetime
There seems to be some truth in the transcendent aspect of karma as people who reach the stage of enlightenment can remember their past lives and particular details. There is also past life regression, where attempts are made to remember past lives. I believe in both, but the transcendent aspect is a lot harder for most people to accept, and I don't hold too tightly to it, but am very open-minded. I believe in endless arising.

When do you most love coming home?

Posted on Dec 4th, 2008 by RLtruthseeker-artist : Integral Mysticism RLtruthseeker-artist
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 04, 2008:

The fact that when you leave, it's right where you left it. And then when you get tired of it, you can leave, get homesick, and then come back to remember its always there inside, although you might have changed. Home is always where the heart is.
