What do people really want?

Posted on Mar 30th, 2009 by RLtruthseeker-artist : Integral Mysticism RLtruthseeker-artist
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 25, 2009:

Happiness, contentment, and the sense of completeness. When you are whole, there is nothing else that needs to be said. People want to lose this false suffering "sense of self" that the ego gives them, and when they empty themselves of it, they find the universal self, they find their true-identity. They find awe, and this breathtaking beauty. In here there is no time, there is no space.

I love how you said, “People want to lose this false suffering “sense of self” that the ego
gives them, and when they empty themselves of it, they find the
universal self, they find their true-identity.”

It must be a coincidence, but after reading ”Flying Into the Sun,” I have come across so many inspiring posts. I picked this book because it was all about, Life and Death.  Buddhist Teachings, taking chances, and following your
heart.

I believe we can do more with our lives if we follow our heart.
