Gaia (closeup)
Gaia, she nurtures and holds the earth in her womb. She is the embodiement of nature and abundance. A solar halo radiadiates around her head. The future of her child is uncertain, in the heat. Down her face stream tears of blood. Are they tears of spiritual joy or are they of pain? Only you can decide what they mean.
Her love is so strong she holds the earth in safety, and goes as far to shed tears of blood to save it from pre-mature death. She feels each tear drop melt into her heart, as she dreams of the day peace finally comes to suckle at her breast.
Thanks j, for your wonderful comments. I think one of best comments I got in my art class was from a female artist who said that my boobs looked pretty good! (not a self-portrait)
