Kali (closeup)
Kali, Goddess and embodiment of the void, and time. Kali is usually depicted as a Hindu god, but I have given her a much more buddhist symbolism. She represents the void, emptiness, nirvana. Her body weaves into the stars, she holds a scythe of truth, with which she severs egos, her other hand gives a gesture of peace, and holds form. The skulls and the outstreched arms represents the passage of time. The yantra in the background, two triangles interlocked, form a six-pointed star, represents Shiva and Shakti interlocked and this symbolizes harmony.

A picture is worth a thousand words and it's meaning, even more so. God bless, Kali.
